Washington High School Football - King's Way Christian thwarted by Kalama
September 20, 2024: Kalama, WA 98625 Kalama Chinooks (Kalama, WA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting King's Way Christian Knights (Vancouver, WA), 30-20 in a league battle.
With the win, Kalama improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Chinooks host Fort Vancouver (Vancouver, WA) to play the Trappers in a 1A Trico battle on Friday, September 27. The Trappers go into the battle with a record of 0-3. Fort Vancouver lost 57-14 in their recent league battle against Stevenson (Stevenson, WA)
The Knights now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Center for a 1A Trico contest on Friday, September 27. King's Way Christian will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 61-0 league win over Columbia (White Salmon, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
