In Friday's league match, the visiting Lovejoy Wildcats football squad scored a good 24-7 triumph over the McIntosh Chiefs.

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Morrow (Morrow, GA). The Mustangs come into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Morrow went down by Newnan (Newnan, GA), 51-20, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Chiefs meet the Northgate Vikings (Newnan, GA) in a AAAAA Region 3 match, on Friday, September 27. McIntosh will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Vikings come into the match with a 1-4 record after their 22-14 league win over Banneker (College Park, GA).
