Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Minford Falcons (Minford, OH), 35-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Northwest advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Mohawks travel to Valley (Lucasville, OH) to play the Indians in a Southern Ohio II battle on Friday, September 27. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 0-5. Valley lost 42-7 in their recent league battle against Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH)

The Falcons now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Portsmouth West for a Southern Ohio II battle on Friday, September 27. Minford will play a Senators team coming off a 35-28 league win over Waverly (Waverly, OH). The Senators record now stands at 3-2.
