The Monroe Central Golden Bears felled the visiting Tindley Tigers football team by a score of 29-19 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Bears play the Wes-Del Warriors (Gaston, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 27. Monroe Central will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 20-8 non-league win over North White (Monon, IN).

The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Purdue Poly Englewood (Indianapolis, IN). The go into the Capital City challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Purdue Poly Englewood lost by Indianapolis Crispus Attucks (Indianapolis, IN), 64-20, in a league challenge.
