Kansas High School Football - Nemaha Central sneaks past Rossville

September 20, 2024: Seneca, KS 66538

The Nemaha Central Thunder football squad scored 31 points and limited the visiting Rossville Bulldogs to 28 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Friday.

The Thunder now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chanute for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. Nemaha Central will meet a Blue Comets squad coming off a 27-14 non-league win over McPherson (McPherson, KS). The Blue Comets record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Rossville drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Maranatha Christian Academy (Shawnee, KS) to meet the Eagles in a Flint Hills test on Friday, September 27. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-3. Maranatha Christian Academy lost 65-12 in their recent non-league test against Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy (Atchison, KS)
