California High School Football - Nevada Union smashes River Valley

September 20, 2024: Grass Valley, CA 95945

The Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) football trounced the visiting River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA), 63-19 in Friday's league outing.

The Miners now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Del Campo for a Foothill Valley outing on Friday, September 27. Nevada Union will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 42-7 league loss to Placer (Auburn, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, River Valley drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA) to clash with the Raging Rhinos in a Foothill Valley outing on Friday, September 27. The Raging Rhinos come into the outing with a record of 4-0. Twelve Bridges won 51-7 in their recent non-league outing against Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA)
