Thomas Jefferson Vikings (Richmond, VA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA), 34-12 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Thomas Jefferson advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to John Marshall (Richmond, VA) to battle the Justices in a Colonial contest on Friday, October 4. The Justices enter the contest with a record of 1-3.

Coming up next, the Greyhounds battle the Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) in a Eastern contest, on Friday, September 27. Norcom will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 14-8 non-league loss to Lakeland (Suffolk, VA).
