The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Shelby County Wildcats (Columbiana, AL) and the visiting Northside Rams (Northport, AL), witnessed Shelby County's football squad edge Northside by a count of 35-28.

The Wildcats (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against St. Clair County (Odenville, AL). The Fighting Saints enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, St. Clair County was nudged by Center Point (Birmingham, AL), 34-27, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Rams confront the Lincoln Golden Bears (Lincoln, AL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 27. Northside will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
