The Roby Lions football squad scored 65 points and limited the visiting Petersburg Buffaloes to 48 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Baird for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. Roby will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 75-30 non-league loss to Veribest (Veribest, TX). The Bears record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Petersburg drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Southland (Southland, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-1. Southland won 58-34 in their recent non-league test against Lorenzo (Lorenzo, TX)
