September 20, 2024: Waubay, SD 57273 The Waubay/Summit Mustangs football squad scored 38 points and limited the visiting Redfield Pheasants to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Wilmot for a Eastern Coteau (9 Man) test on Friday, September 27. Waubay/Summit will clash with a Wolves squad coming off a 52-0 non-league loss to Castlewood (Castlewood, SD). The Wolves record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Redfield drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Pheasants travel to Hamlin (Hayti, SD) to clash with the Chargers in a Eastern South Dakota (9 Man) test on Friday, September 27. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 5-0. Hamlin won 64-8 in their recent non-league test against Florence/Henry (Florence, SD)
