Colorado High School Football - Arvada West tops Overland
September 20, 2024: Arvada, CO 80004 The Arvada West Wildcats football squad scored 43 points and limited the visiting Overland Trailblazers to 12 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Denver South for a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. Arvada West will meet a Ravens squad coming off a 30-12 non-league loss to Vista Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO). The Ravens record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Overland drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Trailblazers travel to Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch, CO) to meet the Golden Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-1. Mountain Vista lost 55-13 in their recent non-league test against Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO)
