September 20, 2024: King, NC 27021 Calvary Christian Cougar (King, NC) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles (Winston-Salem, NC), 2-0 in a league test.
With the win, Calvary Christian advances its record to 5-5 on the season. The Cougar host Oak Level Baptist Academy (Stokesdale, NC) to face the Conquerors in a test on Tuesday, October 1. The Conquerors go into the test with a record of 4-5.
The Eagles now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Matthews Christian Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. Woodland Baptist Christian will face a Colts squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Cornerstone Christian Academy (Statesville, NC). The Colts record now stands at 6-3.
