Missouri High School Softball - Republic can't get by Savannah
September 20, 2024: Republic, MO 65738 Savannah Savages (Savannah, MO) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Republic Tigers (Republic, MO), 2-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Savannah improves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Savages travel to North Platte (Dearborn, MO) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, September 23. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 12-1.
The Tigers now hold a 12-7 record. They play next when they host Webb City for a Class 4 District 12 game on Tuesday, September 24. Republic will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Nevada (Nevada, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-4.
