Virginia High School Volleyball - Nansemond River over Churchland

In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Nansemond River Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Churchland Truckers.

The Warriors (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Denbigh (Newport News, VA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Denbigh was beaten by Bethel (Hampton, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Truckers meet the Maury Commodores (Norfolk, VA) in a Eastern challenge, on Monday, September 23. Churchland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Commodores come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Norview (Norfolk, VA).
