In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Connally Cadets volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Marlin Bulldogs.

The Cadets (10-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Bosqueville (Waco, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 26-2 record. In their last challenge, Bosqueville beat Hamilton (Hamilton, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
