Texas High School Volleyball - John Paul II over Foothill
September 20, 2024: Plano, TX 75075 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the John Paul II Cardinals (Plano, TX) and the visiting Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA), observed John Paul II's volleyball team top Foothill by a tally of 2-0.
The Cardinals (28-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV). The Gaels enter the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Bishop Gorman was beaten by Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA), 3-2, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Knights meet the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 21. Foothill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-21 season record. The Nighthawks enter the contest with a 5-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ).
