Maryland High School Volleyball - Worcester Prep overwhelmed by The Gunston School
September 20, 2024: Berlin, MD 21811 The Gunston School Herons (Centreville, MD) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Worcester Prep Mallards (Berlin, MD), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, The Gunston School advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Herons travel to Rockbridge Academy (Millersville, MD) to face the Scots in a non-league test on Monday, September 30. The Scots go into the test with a record of 2-1.
The Mallards now sport a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arcadia for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. Worcester Prep will face a Firebirds squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Firebirds record now stands at 1-5.
