Maine High School Football - Bucksport tops Traip
September 20, 2025: Kittery, ME 03904 The Bucksport Golden Bucks football team scored 44 points and restricted the host Traip Rangers to 24 in the Golden Bucks non-league win on Saturday.
In their next game, the Golden Bucks face the Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME) in a 8-Man Small North (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, September 26. Bucksport will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Minutemen go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 34-20 non-league loss to Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME).
With the defeat, Traip drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME) to meet the Seahawks in a 8-Man Small South (8 Man) test on Friday, September 26. The Seahawks come into the test with a record of 0-3. Boothbay lost 34-30 in their recent league test against Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME)
