In Saturday's league match, the host South Anchorage Wolverines football squad scored a good 41-28 triumph over the Colony Knights.

The Wolverines (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Dimond (Anchorage, AK). The Lynx come into the Cook Inlet match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Dimond was beaten by Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK), 15-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears (Juneau, AK) in a Cook Inlet match, on Saturday, September 27. Colony will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Crimson Bears come into the match with a 2-4 record after their 15-14 league win over Dimond (Anchorage, AK).
