New York High School Football - Port Washington tops Freeport
September 20, 2025: Freeport, NY 11520 The Port Washington Vikings football squad scored 38 points and limited the host Freeport Red Devils to 8 in the Vikings league triumph on Saturday.
The Vikings now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oceanside for a Section 8 Conference I challenge on Saturday, September 27. Port Washington will face a Sailors team coming off a 64-57 league loss to Farmingdale (Farmingdale, NY). The Sailors record now stands at 1-1.
The Red Devils (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Syosset (Syosset, NY). The go into the Section 8 Conference I challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Syosset was defeated by Farmingdale (Farmingdale, NY), 51-28, in a league test.
