September 20, 2025: Swanton, VT 05488 The Mt. Abraham Eagles walloped the host Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds football team by a score of 68-0 in Saturday's league test.
The Eagles now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Windsor for a CVL test on Saturday, September 27. Mt. Abraham will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 20-12 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, VT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Missisquoi Valley falls to 0-3 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Otter Valley (Brandon, VT) to face the Otters in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 26. The Otters enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Otter Valley lost 43-14 in their recent league challenge against Woodstock (Woodstock, VT)
