Illinois High School Football - West Aurora thwarted by Plainfield North
September 20, 2025: Aurora, IL 60506 Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL), 42-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Plainfield North improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Tigers host Minooka (Minooka, IL) to meet the Indians in a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. The Indians come into the test with a record of 3-0. Minooka won 38-0 in their recent non-league test against Joliet West (Joliet, IL)
With the defeat, West Aurora drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Bartlett (Bartlett, IL) to meet the Hawks in a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 2-0. Bartlett won 28-6 in their recent non-league test against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL)
