California High School Flag Football - Edison nips River Valley

September 20, 2025: Stockton, CA 95206

The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Edison Vikings (Stockton, CA) and the visiting River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA), witnessed Edison's flag football squad edge River Valley by a tally of 12-6.

The Vikings (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Stockton, CA). The Yellowjackets enter the San-Joaquin Athletic Association contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Franklin was nudged by Tokay (Lodi, CA), 25-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Falcons battle the Riverbank Bruins (Riverbank, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 20. River Valley will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Bruins enter the contest with a 4-8 record after their 12-7 non-league win over Modesto (Modesto, CA).
