September 20, 2025: Orland Park, IL 60462 Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their flag football team nip the host Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL), 14-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Fenwick advances its record to 6-4 on the season. The Friars travel to Walther Christian Academy (Melrose Park, IL) to encounter the Broncos in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Broncos go into the battle with a record of 3-2. Walther Christian Academy won 63-0 in their recent league match against Northtown (Chicago, IL)
Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 22. Sandburg will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
