Washington High School Soccer - Bear Creek knocks off La Salle
September 20, 2025: Union Gap, WA 98903 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Bear Creek Grizzlies (Redmond, WA) and the host La Salle Lightning (Union Gap, WA), saw Bear Creek's soccer squad triumph over La Salle by a count of 5-0.
The Grizzlies (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Granite Falls (Granite Falls, WA). The Tigers enter the 1A Emerald Sound battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Granite Falls tipped Tyee (SeaTac, WA), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
The Lightning now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Selah for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 23. La Salle will meet a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Ellensburg (Ellensburg, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-3.
