September 20, 2025: Towanda, PA 18848 The Towanda Black Knights soccer team (Towanda, PA), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Saturday's non-league match with the visiting Warrior Run Defenders (Turbotville, PA)
With the triumph, Warrior Run moves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Defenders host Hughesville (Hughesville, PA) to meet the Spartans in a PIAA District IV-AA match on Tuesday, September 23. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 6-3. Hughesville won 6-0 in their recent league battle against Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA)
Next up, the Black Knights confront the North Penn-Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, PA) in a PIAA District IV-AA battle, on Tuesday, September 23. Towanda will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 3-5 record after their 6-0 league loss to Troy (Troy, PA).
