September 20, 2025: Huber Heights, OH 45424 The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Fairmont Firebirds (Kettering, OH) and the host Wayne Warriors (Huber Heights, OH), witnessed Fairmont's football squad knock off Wayne by a tally of 35-7.
The Firebirds (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Versailles (Versailles, OH). The Tigers enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record.
The Warriors now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Northmont for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. Wayne will encounter a Thunderbolts team coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to Springboro (Springboro, OH). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 0-2.
