Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Lewisburg nudges Abington Heights
September 20, 2025: Lewisburg, PA 17837 The Lewisburg Green Dragons (Lewisburg, PA) soccer edged the visiting Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA), 1-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.
Next, the Green Dragons face the Hughesville Spartans (Hughesville, PA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 22. Lewisburg will attempt to upgrade on its 9-0 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 6-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA).
The Comets (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Knights enter the Lackawanna - Division I challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Scranton was nudged by Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA), 2-0, in a league challenge.
