September 20, 2025: Poplar Ridge, NY 13139 The crowd at Saturday's league test between the Southern Cayuga Chiefs (Poplar Ridge, NY) and the visiting Newfield Trojans (Newfield, NY), witnessed Southern Cayuga's soccer team triumph over Newfield by a final score of 8-0.
With the triumph, Southern Cayuga moves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Odessa-Montour (Odessa, NY) to confront the Grizzlies in a Interscholastic Athletic Conference (IAC) test on Wednesday, September 24. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 5-3. Odessa-Montour won 7-0 in their recent league test against Groton (Groton, NY)

Newfield will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 2-1 league win over Tioga (Tioga Center, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-5.
