September 20, 2025: Normal, IL 61761 The Washington Panthers soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Normal University Pioneers to 3 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers now hold a 13-0 record. They play next when they host East Peoria for a Mid-Illini contest on Tuesday, September 23. Washington will face a Raiders team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 2-8.
The Pioneers (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Urbana University (Urbana, IL). The Illineks enter the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Urbana University was nipped by Beecher (Beecher, IL), 4-2, in a non-league contest.
