September 20, 2025: Elgin, MN 55964 Winona Winhawks (Winona, MN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the host Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs (Elgin, MN), 7-1 in a league outing.
The Winhawks (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Century (Rochester, MN). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Century got by Red Wing (Red Wing, MN), 7-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Dover-Eyota Eagles (Eyota, MN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 23. Plainview-Elgin-Millville will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 2-7 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to New Richmond (New Richmond, WI).
