In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Ralston Rams softball team scored a tight 5-4 win over the North Platte Bulldogs.

The Rams (17-3) will now prepare for their match against Seward (Seward, NE). The Bluejays come into the non-league match with a 5-9 record. In their last match, Seward was nipped by Milford (Milford, NE), 4-3, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Gering Bulldogs (Gering, NE) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 20. North Platte will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 5-3 league loss to Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE).
