Next, the Pirates meet the Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA) in a 2A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Pike County will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 13-1 league win over Jackson (Jackson, GA).
The Wolverines (17-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA). The Golden Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 12-9 record. In their last challenge, St. Pius X Catholic edged Northview (Johns Creek, GA), 8-0, in a league challenge.
