Arizona High School Volleyball - ALA - Ironwood tips North Phoenix Preparatory Academy

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting ALA - Ironwood Warriors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Gladiators.

The Warriors (12-11) will now prepare for their challenge against St. John Paul II Catholic (Avondale, AZ). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, St. John Paul II Catholic was nudged by North Valley Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Gladiators play the Cicero Prep Academy Centurions (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 23. North Phoenix Preparatory Academy will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Centurions go into the game with a 13-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Camp Verde (Camp Verde, AZ).
