September 20, 2025: Bushland, TX 79012 Fans at Saturday's non-league test between the Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX) and the host Bushland Falcons (Bushland, TX), saw Amarillo's volleyball squad achieve victory over Bushland by a score of 3-1.
With the win, Amarillo improves its record to 21-8 on the season. The Sandies travel to Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX) to encounter the Pirates in a 5A Region I District 3 test on Tuesday, September 23. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 17-9. Lubbock-Cooper won 3-0 in their recent league test against Monterey (Lubbock, TX)
The Falcons now own a 25-8 record. They take the field next when they host Dimmitt for a 3A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, September 23. Bushland will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Vega (Vega, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-10.
