September 20, 2025: Astoria, OR 97103 The Philomath Warriors volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Astoria Fishermen to 1 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cottage Grove for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 20. Philomath will play a Lions team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR). The Lions record now stands at 6-0.
With the loss, Astoria drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Fishermen travel to Tillamook (Tillamook, OR) to clash with the Cheesemakers in a 4A Cowapa bout on Thursday, September 25. The Cheesemakers come into the bout with a record of 5-5. Tillamook lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against St. Helens (St. Helens, OR)
