Massachusetts High School Volleyball - MacDuffie bounced by Austin Prep

Austin Prep Cougars (Reading, MA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting MacDuffie Mustangs (Granby, MA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Covenant Christian Academy (West Peabody, MA). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Covenant Christian Academy beat Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall (Waltham, MA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) in a NEPSAC challenge, on Monday, September 22. MacDuffie will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Mounties enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Wilbraham & Monson Academy (Wilbraham, MA).
