The Beresford Watchdogs volleyball squad (Beresford, SD), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Avon Pirates (Avon, SD)

The Pirates (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Parker/Marion (Parker, SD). The Pheasants enter the non-league challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Parker/Marion beat Garretson (Garretson, SD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
