New York High School Volleyball - Batavia overwhelmed by Oakfield-Alabama
September 20, 2025: Oakfield, NY 14125 Oakfield-Alabama Hornets (Oakfield, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Batavia Blue Devils (Batavia, NY), 3-0 in a non-league outing.
The Hornets now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Holley for a Section 5 Genesee County I outing on Monday, September 22.
With the loss, Batavia drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Canandaigua Academy (Canandaigua, NY) to confront the Gray Wolves in a non-league game on Thursday, October 2. The Gray Wolves go into the game with a record of 5-3.
