The Hi-Plains Patriots volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Briggsdale Falcons to 0 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Patriots now have a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Genoa-Hugo/Karval for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27. Hi-Plains will play a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Otis (Otis, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Briggsdale drops to 1-9 on the campaign. The Falcons host Weldon Valley (Weldona, CO) to confront the Warriors in a 1A North Central game on Thursday, September 25. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 3-8. Weldon Valley lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Fleming (Fleming, CO)
