September 20, 2025: Cayce, SC 29033 The Brookland-Cayce Bearcats volleyball team (Cayce, SC), was knocked off 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC)
The Gamecocks (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Westwood (Blythewood, SC). The Redhawks enter the AAAAA Region 5 contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Westwood was knocked off by West Florence (Florence, SC), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Bearcats meet the Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 battle, on Tuesday, September 23. Brookland-Cayce will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gilbert (Gilbert, SC).
