Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) and the visiting Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA), observed Chardon's volleyball team hold off Cathedral Prep by a count of 2-1.

The Hilltoppers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against South (Willoughby, OH). The Rebels enter the Western Reserve contest with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, South tipped Solon (Solon, OH), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Ramblers now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20.
