In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Centerville Big Reds/Redettes volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lamoni Demons.

The Big Reds/Redettes (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Davis County (Bloomfield, IA). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-16 record. In their last test, Davis County went down by Albia (Albia, IA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Demons now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Murray for a Bluegrass test on Monday, September 22. Lamoni will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Moravia (Moravia, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-4.
