The West Chargers topped the visiting Central Plains Oilers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Chargers face the Piper Pirates (Kansas City, KS) in a United Kansas game, on Tuesday, September 23. West will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Pirates go into the game with a 1-8 record after their 2-0 league loss to Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS).

With the loss, Central Plains drops to 7-7 on the campaign. The Oilers travel to Ellinwood (Ellinwood, KS) to play the Eagles in a Central Prairie outing on Tuesday, September 23.
