Iowa High School Volleyball - MOC-Floyd Valley can't get by Cherokee Washington
September 20, 2025: Orange City, IA 51041 Cherokee Washington Braves (Cherokee, IA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen (Orange City, IA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Cherokee Washington upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Braves host Storm Lake (Storm Lake, IA) to play the Tornadoes in a Lakes outing on Thursday, September 25. The Tornadoes come into the outing with a record of 4-9.
With the loss, MOC-Floyd Valley drops to 9-6 on the campaign. The Dutchmen travel to Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA) to confront the Comets in a non-league game on Thursday, September 25. The Comets go into the game with a record of 8-7. Boyden-Hull won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Le Mars (Le Mars, IA)
