September 20, 2025: Montezuma, IA 50171 The Montezuma Braves volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Colo-NESCO Royals to 0 in the Braves non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Braves now have a 14-8 record. They play next when they host Sigourney for a non-league outing on Monday, September 22. Montezuma will play a Savages team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA). The Savages record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Colo-NESCO drops to 0-13 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA) to play the Saints in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 20. The Saints come into the outing with a record of 1-4. Melcher-Dallas lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Seymour (Seymour, IA)
