September 20, 2025: Fort Wayne, IN 46814 Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Homestead improves its record to 10-5 on the season. The Spartans host Angola (Angola, IN) to face the Hornets in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 11-3. Angola won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against NorthWood (Nappanee, IN)
Next, the Trojans meet the Clinton Prairie Gophers (Frankfort, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Covington will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Gophers come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Taylor (Kokomo, IN).
