Minnesota High School Volleyball - Dassel-Cokato tips Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop
September 20, 2025: Winthrop, MN 55396 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Dassel-Cokato Chargers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds.
The Chargers (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Zumbrota-Mazeppa was edged by Lake City (Lake City, MN), 3-2, in a league test.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tracy-Milroy-Balaton for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Ortonville (Ortonville, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 3-7.
