The Fond du Lac Cardinals volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Menomonee Falls Phoenix to 1 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cardinals now have a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Oshkosh North for a Fox Valley outing on Thursday, September 25. Fond du Lac will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Appleton East (Appleton, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 7-7.

The Phoenix (16-4) will now prepare for their game against West Allis Hale (West Allis, WI). The Huskies go into the Greater Metro game with a 8-10 record. In their last game, West Allis Hale was edged by Divine Savior Holy Angels (Milwaukee, WI), 3-0, in a league game.
