California High School Volleyball - Westchester edged by Gabrielino
September 20, 2025: San Gabriel, CA 91776 Gabrielino Eagles (San Gabriel, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball team hold off the visiting Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Ramona Convent (Alhambra, CA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, Ramona Convent was edged by St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA), 3-2, in a league test.
The Comets now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Venice for a Western test on Monday, September 22. Westchester will face a Gondoliers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA). The Gondoliers record now stands at 14-3.
